capture & playback preset - E1.20 RDM (Remote Device Management) Protocol Forums

There are some additional PIDs relating to preset playback being discussed as part of E1.37 "Additional Message Sets for ANSI E1.20 (RDM)". I don't have the latest draft in front of me, but I believe it did include a "Delete Preset" PID.

I believe the intention of PRESET_PLAYBACK_ALL is to basically serve as a "Go internal sequence" for the responder. There was some discussion of adding more sophisticated control over sequencing, but it quickly became clear you'd have to reimplement an entire lighting controller to meet everyone's needs.
