Default Slot Label Code

Does anybody know what "Slot Label Code" (E1.20, Appendix B) is and where it is defined?

First I thought it could be a value from Appendix C, Table C-2, but that can't be as there is no reasonable entry in this table for "%L low fluid". The device label OTOH doesn't need a numeric selection so this can't be it either.

The "Slot Label Code" are the codes listed in Table C-2. The tables for both B-2 and C-2 were never really intended to be an exhaustive list, but instead just a framework that could be added to.

In both those sections you'll notice the informative note that pointing to the ESTA Website for extensions to those two tables as people request new codes to be added.

You can also create your own manufacturer-specific Status and Slot codes then they can be described to other devices just by requesting the Description for those codes with the appropriate Get Description PID's.
