Sub-Device Count | Dependency on other parameters?
Hello everybody,
I have wondered if the sub-device count as reported in a DEVICE_INFO response can change depending on other (RDM-configurable) device settings? In particular, could SET:DMX_PERSONALITY also change the sub-device count? Chapter [E1.20 : 10.6.1] states that "many RDM parameters may be affected by changing personality", but maybe I miss a closer definition of which parameters could indeed be affected (e.g. DMX-related parameters only). Any thoughts would be highly appreciated. Thank you! Cheers, Matthias |

Hi,
Yes the sub device count can change with personality. In fact, that is probably the biggest use of personality. |
