RDM Generator needed

I am working on an RDM responder and was wondering what kind of equipment was out there to act as a generator for my testing? I don't really want to get a hog 3 or anything like that. I am thinking along the lines of a PC based generator or a testing widget of some sort. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Steve,

For doing RDM Development, probably one of the more useful things is going to be the ENTTEC USB/DMX stuff. There's some discussion about it in the "RDM Marketplace" forums here: http://www.rdmprotocol.org/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=16

Other good RDM Controller products I know of are the Wybron InfoTrace system, Artistic Licence nodes and Jumpstart, as well as the RAD from Doug Fleenor.

The ENTTEC interface and possibly the Infotrace are the only ones that I'm sure have been updated to the final version of RDM (including START code). I know Wayne at Artistic Licence was in the process of updating everything to the final version of RDM, but am not sure where he's at on that.

Scott, Steve,

Our gear is still on draft V1.0. I'll post when we release.

Cheers

Pathway has pre-release Pathport firmware and a full-featured command line tool that is up to the ANSI doc if anyone's interested.

It also supports a draft of the forthcoming rdm/FTP protocol.....

I have a pile of different responders as well if anyone needs test gear, or wants to send an implementation our way to look at!

Let me know if this will help!
