White balance

Can sameone explain me how to balance a white color with an RGB lamp using RDM commands?
Do I have to use the "SD_COLOR_RED", "SD_COLOR_GREEN", "SD_COLOR_BLUE" slot labels?
How do I have to set these parameters?
Thanks

Marco,

Can you clarify, are you looking to define a "white balance" parameter or how to achieve white output with a color mixing device that has RGB parameters?

You don't use RDM to control the fixture, you use RDM to configure the fixture. Think of RDM as allowing you to do all the things you typically do from the fixture's setup menu, but instead of having to touch the fixture you can do it remotely.

A fixture with a user setable white point could include an RDM command that sets the white point, but I'm not aware of any equipment that does so.
