I'm curious if anyone has implemented this on a Responder, and what they think about it. I'm particularly interested in issues of robustness, and bricking. We currently have a custom bootloader on our fixtures that does not use RDM.. mitigating these issues was top of the list of requirements. Also, are console manufacturers starting to design this File Transfer Control capability into their consoles?.. is it commonplace?, or not yet? Thanks in advance for any information! DougJ</div>

I’d like to share a new approach to RDM implementation: a complete solution that runs on a single dedicated driver IC, with no external microcontroller required.<br />
We are a chip R&amp;D manufacturer based in China, and we have launched this highly integrated DMX512 + RDM driver IC. Housed in an ultra-compact SSOP10 package, the die integrates full sensor circuits on-chip and delivers direct PWM signal output for luminaire driving. No external discrete components or standalone sensors are needed during fixture design, which greatly simplifies PCB layout and reduces hardware design complexity. It is an ideal optimized solution for miniaturized, compact RDM-enabled intelligent luminaires.</div>
