Console Programmer

As a console programmer, it’s important to be ‘in control’ of the whole system.  You’re required to patch, and to maintain the system during the programming period.  As RDM enabled fixtures can be remotely discovered and patched, you no longer need to spend hours calculating DMX addresses and ensuring the fixture profiles on your console exactly match the mode the hire company decided to send the fixtures out in.

Automatic patching functions from the lighting console are just the start – notice that pan is inverted on one of the fixtures? Jump into your RDM menu and switch it back.  Are the displays on the fixtures distracting the director? Jump into your RDM menu and turn them off.  Features never before possible without a ladder.

RDM enables console programmers to stay in control.
